Calm, Clarity and Confidence

Psychological Safety & Trauma-Informed Leadership Coaching & Training

A calm, confidential process for HR professionals

to help themselves & others to think clearly & lead confidently.

Fed up with constantly refereeing line manager issues and grievances?

Fed up with top talent getting sick or leaving?

Your people are your business. Yet partner pressure, unrelenting workloads, and a lack of psychological safety are quietly pushing your best fee-earners out the door.

You see the signs: rising turnover, awkward internal grievances, and senior managers who still rely on old-school pressure tactics because they don't know any other way to lead.

Table tennis tables and wellness apps won't fix this. Real retention comes down to how your leaders communicate and handle pressure on a normal Tuesday.

Sickness absence is creeping up. Grievances take over your diary. And line managers keep pushing basic team conflicts straight back onto your plate instead of handling them.

You’re caught in a cycle of reactive firefighting, all while trying to manage your own massive workload.

If managers don't know how to handle conflict, support stressed staff, or lead with confidence, your team morale and your retention figures take the hit.

Our Trauma-Informed Leadership & Workplace Coaching/Training show partners and senior managers how to run high-performing teams without burning people out.

Our programmes turn reactive managers into confident leaders who can resolve issues, build trust, and keep sickness rates down before problems land on HR's desk.

Give your managers the tools to lead so you can actually focus on your own job. Keep your best talent, protect client work, and build a culture people actually want to stay in.

What this work helps you achieve:

Clearer thinking under pressure

More confidence in your leadership decisions

Stronger boundaries and better balance

A regulated nervous system and calmer day-to-day leadership

A sense of direction about what comes next

When you’re responsible for thousands of pupils across multiple academies, every local issue has a way of landing in your inbox over the weekend.

Strategic progress rarely dies in a big crash; it just gets squeezed out, week by week, by staff absences, recruitment struggles, and strained local leadership.

If your central team is trapped putting out fires, the whole Trust starts to drift.

Trying to scale a Trust on executive exhaustion just isn't sustainable.

Through our Trust-Wide Leadership Programmes and Executive Coaching, we work with MAT CEOs/senior leadership to build resilient, capable leadership teams across every site, giving you the space to delegate properly and focus on long-term strategy.

What this support gives you:

A calmer, steadier way for teams to lead under pressure.

Space to reflect without judgement or agenda.

Clearer thinking and more confident leadership decisions.

Stronger boundaries and a healthier balance.

Greater confidence with governors, staff, and challenging situations.

A clearer sense of direction about what comes next.

Why work with Nick?

Trauma‑informed Executive Leadership Coach • CPD Accredited Training • Former Head Teacher • Compassionate and Supportive

Calm, grounded and leadership‑aware support

I understand the demands, pressures and pace of leadership because I’ve lived it. Coaching with me is steady, reflective and rooted in the realities of professional life.

Specialist in leadership under pressure
You’ll gain practical strategies grounded in neuroscience, emotional regulation and positive psychology — designed for leaders who carry staffing decisions and performance responsibilities.

I understand the weight of school leadership

I’ve lived the reality of senior leadership — safeguarding decisions, staff issues, inspections, and the pressure to stay steady for everyone else. This coaching is calm, reflective, and grounded in the real world of HT, DHT, and DSL roles.

Support for leaders under sustained pressure
You’ll develop practical ways to think more clearly under pressure, regulate stress responses, and make confident decisions — without adding more to your workload.

Confidential and independent

This is a safe space. Clients can talk openly about challenges, decisions and next steps without judgement or agenda.

Experienced, credible and trusted

I am a former Head Teacher, and leader and a registered practitioner across several professional bodies. My work supports leaders across many different types of organisations.

A truly confidential space

This is independent support, outside your school or trust. You can speak openly about challenges, decisions, and next steps — without judgement, reporting, or agenda.

Experienced and trusted

Alongside being a former Headteacher, I’m an NSPCC‑trained supervisor and a registered practitioner across recognised professional bodies. I support leaders across schools, MATs, and education‑facing organisations.

How support is usually delivered

Support is shaped around your role, your context, and what you’re carrying right now.
Most leaders work with me in one or more of the following ways.

Leadership coaching (1:1)

Confidential, reflective support for professionals navigating pressure, complex decisions and sustained responsibility. Sessions create space to think clearly, regulate stress, and lead with greater confidence.

Strategic Leadership Support

This support focuses on identifying clear next steps within your organisation to enhance psychological and physiological safety, wellbeing, retention and sickness absence, as well as leadership capacity.

Workshops for Workplaces

Practical, grounded sessions for staff or leadership teams, covering areas such as wellbeing, mental health, neurodivergence, and trauma‑informed practice, providing a psychologically safe culture.

You don’t need to know which of these is right before getting in touch.
We’ll explore what would be most helpful during a confidential initial conversation.

Ready to talk it through? A calm, confidential first step.

Complete the form and I’ll be in touch within one working day (Mon-Fri).
We’ll arrange a confidential 20–30 minute conversation to understand how I could help and explore whether this approach is right for you.
No pressure. No obligation.

Confidential and independent enquiry.

Coaching in Solihull or Online — Flexible Support, wherever you're based.

Coaching is available either in person at my Solihull practice or online. Both options offer the same level of depth, confidentiality and support.

Many professionals choose online sessions for convenience and privacy, while others prefer the grounding of meeting in person. We’ll use whatever format best fits your role, schedule and circumstances.

Your Questions, Answered

Is the coaching confidential?

Yes. 100%.
Your sessions are completely confidential.

Is this therapy?

No — this is trauma‑informed executive coaching, not counselling or therapy.
However, the approach integrates neuroscience, emotional regulation and wellbeing strategies to support you in high‑pressure leadership environments. It helps you think clearly, perform better and feel more grounded.

Can my company pay for this?

Yes.
Most leaders use CPD, wellbeing or leadership development budgets to fund this.

Do I need to be struggling to benefit from this?

Not at all.

Many clients are high‑performing leaders who want:

- clearer thinking

- stronger boundaries

- better work–life balance

- improved confidence

- direction for their next career step

The space is for stabilisation and progression.

How many sessions will I need?

Most leaders see meaningful shifts within 4–6 sessions, although some continue longer for deeper leadership development or strategic career work. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are available depending on your needs.

What makes this different from general coaching?

You work with a trauma‑informed leadership specialist and Mental Wellbeing Company partner.

This means you receive support that is:

- grounded in lived leadership

- psychologically safe

- evidence‑based

- regulation‑focused

- aligned with the realities of professional life

This is not generic coaching — it is tailored to the emotional and operational demands of senior leadership.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes.
You can work with me in person in Solihull or online via Zoom. Both formats provide the same level of depth, safety and effectiveness. Many clients prefer online sessions for ease around their timetable.
